The "Other" Sisters Of Mercy

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

I sat opposite three elderly nuns (may not have been Sisters of Mercy) in Austria last year. I was a bit embarrassed about my Sisters t-shirt as, atheism aside, I don't ever want to be critical of anyone's faith. Nothing I could do, so, and I felt so much better when one of them raised her small beer to me and smiled.

An old friend of mine used to have the "jesus shooting up" artwork from Christian Death's "sex & drugs & jesus christ" album painted on the back of his leather back in the very early 90s.

In the second year at uni he moved into a house 200 yards from a nun's chapter house (or whatever they're called).

That was awkward for him.
