THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.
With the twenty or so bands I follow I've been lagging behind, but I finally got hold of the 2015 Floodland box yesterday. That's two down and two to go...
months ago now i drunkenly bought an atrocious imitation TSOM zippo thing on ebay but as yet havent been arsed to pay for it. as its only about £15 i dont think ebay or the seller can be bothered tp pursue the matter, beyond prohibiting me from buying anything else until i have paid for it.
it's not the imitation-zippo aspect of the item thats putting me off.... it's the level of abomination of the reworked MR logo.

The thing I want to buy is new music.
Andrew is going to run out of tee shirt sales soon.
I can see no gigs in 2021 now that Glastonbury is cancelled for 2021.
It’s going to be a straight choice soon, release new music or retire.

Sadly, no it isn't. The Sisters have had years without gigs before and managed perfectly fine, and releasing an album isn't going to make them all rich. Von is in his 60's of course, so maybe he will just retire after all.

Not sure if it says more about me or the t-shirt "designer" but at first glance I thought the person on the right was Hulk Hogan.

I’d been after one for a few months, there are a couple on discogs from European sellers around the £90 mark (no idea how much extra tax duty on top as I’m UK based though) and one on eBay for over £100.
I ended up paying £75 from a UK record shop, which I was happy with.
