On the Beach is a 1957 novel by Nevil Shute. Nuclear war had broken out, and the radiation is traveling across the sea to the Australian shoreline. Hence the name, waiting for the fallout "on the beach". It's also Navy lingo for retired from service and an obscure TS Eliot reference.

You might be onto something. I grabbed the Mish lyrics from the start up to Aura (2001) - that was about all I could stand, and it's roughly the same sized corpus as all the Sisters lyrics available.
The output is... uh, maybe better? First three tries below, formatted and titled by me.

Needs that rhyming dictionary though.
