Well, hello. i just got this gig in a trade, from snowey, and he's as baffled as i am. The Gimme Shelter on the cd is a completely different version than was played on all the other gigs on the tour: much shorter, different drum sounds, Von singing to another song's notes...And some sites, such as PIB's, Christer's and db.tsom.org don't list GS on this gig at all. But at least hallucienate's site does.
So the question is: was GS played and for some reason it is missing from the recording, so someone just added the wrong version to make the recording look complete? Or was it not played, and somebody just decided to add it to the cd-r cause he missed it so much?
Witless either way, i say.
