A question for the room:
How much longer will The Sisters be around as a touring outfit?
Assuming that we are indeed nearing the end of the pandemic, and that by next year gigs and touring will be back to what it was pre-covid, how many more years do you think Von can/will keep doing what he’s been doing these last few decades?
As a concrete example, do you think that we will see a 50th anniversary show in 2031?
How much longer?

Maybe, who knows? What will be will be. They've outlasted Motorhead though granted Motorhead had a head start.

As long as Von can, I suspect.
Sure, he's consistently said he doesn't have to do this. But yet he does it. He's also a cantankerous, curmudgeonly contrarian. He is, as my dad used to say, so crooked that if he ate a nail he'd shit an S-hook.
In other words, there's a strong possibility that he secretly loves it. But don't tell him I said that.

If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

i have no doubt that Andrew will carry on playing live to some extent or other until ill health or death stops him. The buzz of being a rock star you know.

Dylan's "Never Ending Tour" is going on since 1988, Bob is 80 now.

I believe all the pieces of the puzzle were mentioned, so far. An important piece is that of the kitties and their cat food. All of them reveal the big picture.

2031, he'll be then 71/72, as we know many musicians are still active at this age.
Judging by the last tour, he still can find amusement in giving entertainment and being in the spotlight.
I'm worrying that his vox can disappear by that time.

On the rather more bleak flipside, Dusty Hill of ZZ Top died at 72 recently.

I was planning to see her at the last concert of her last tour in Athens 22 June 2011. But it was not meant to be as the concert before that in Belgrade June 18 2011 was the last one, she died the next day of the day that was to sing in Athens at 23 Juneeastmidswhizzkid wrote: ↑24 Aug 2021, 01:00did you get to see her Konstantinos? A touching moment was Moby play Rehab as opening in his setlist. A really good cover that was medleyed with the first of his songs without break. A memorable cover and a fantastic performance by the singer that accompanied Moby in this tour.
Edit - found the medley
