Evening all! Ready for another GW with one or two doubles thrown in? Yaay let's go! Last week had a good few high scores so hoping for some more, preferably in my direction. Liverpool, Spurs, Brighton, Newcastle, Everton and Arsenal all go twice.
It's been a roller coaster week - big scores throwing things wide open at top and bottom of the league. Overshadowing everything right now is the legal mess surrounding Chelsea - let's hope something is sorted out.
Saturday 12 March 2022
Brighton 12:30 Liverpool Liverpool are seriously rolling at them moment so it might be a struggle for Brighton
UK - BT Sport
Brentford 15:00 Burnley Mid-relegation battle
Man Utd 17:30 Spurs Oh lord, this could go anywhere
UK - Sky Sports
Sunday 13 March 2022
Chelsea 14:00 Newcastle Chelsea playing with no sponsor, probably the last set of away fans for a while. It could be a strange atmosphere.
UK - Sky Sports
Everton 14:00 Wolves Lampard really does need a win after last week, but Wolves might not let him
Leeds 14:00 Norwich I don't want to look
Southampton 14:00 Watford Not sure I want to particularly look at this one either
West Ham 14:00 Aston Villa I think that this could be quite a match.
Arsenal 16:30 Leicester Both have won lately but are quite erratic, and Vardy is back, so I predict a draw.
UK - Sky Sports
Monday 14 March 2022
Crystal Palace 20:00 Man City Palace have been very stubborn of late and might bring a cropper City's way.
UK - Sky Sports
Wednesday 16 March 2022
Brighton 19:30 Spurs Spurs will be Spursy, I suspect
Arsenal 20:15 Liverpool Reds aplenty! Visitors might take a few more points
UK - Sky Sports
Thursday 17 March 2022
Everton 19:45 Newcastle Lampard might still be looking for that win
UK - Amazon Prime Video
A very interesting week ahead in lots of ways. Good luck to all involved.

There is no way Sanchez should still be on the pitch after cleaning Díaz like that.

This was a really long DGW, finishing just before the next one started.
Brighton 0-2 Liverpool Diaz and Salah in the mix, yaay! Sanchez with 7 saves, so it was a bit lively.
Brentford 2-0 Burnley Relegation battles, won by Toney
Man Utd 3-2 Spurs Maguire started well for Spurs, Kane did his best, but Ronaldo took the biscuit, the hat and the trick. Dammit, Spurs!
Chelsea 1-0 Newcastle Defiant by Chelsea in the midst of their troubles.
Everton 0-1 Wolves Wolves back on form, Everton still not on form.
Leeds 2-1 Norwich Sigh. At least we scored one. Leeds scored pretty late.
Southampton 1-2 Watford Both goals under fire but Watford managed to take the points
West Ham 2-1 Aston Villa Emotional as Yarmlenko scores to help WH to a win. Fabianski had to save 6 times though.
Arsenal 2-0 Leicester Partey parties on a good day. Leicester back not on form.
Crystal Palace 0-0 Man City Palace upset City with an excellent draw, blowing the title race a fair bit wider
Brighton 0-2 Spurs Spurs do not Spurs this time. Brighton having a poor run but Sanchez saving a lot again.
Arsenal 0-2 Liverpool Salah not in evidence today, but Jota reappears. Arsenal did try...
Everton 1-0 Newcastle Iwobi, not really a favourite, gives Everton a last ditch win that released a few primal screams of relief. Calvert-Lewin doing good work, and Begovic kept his team in it with a rare clean sheet. Allen had been sent off, there was an 8 minute delay for a protestor cable tying his neck to the goal post (great bolt cutter action) and a total of 14 minutes injury time. And that's when Everton scored and the place went crazy.
An eventful week! And high scoring - 910 points for BB&S but IGM bombed it with 'only' 825. Here's the table:
Dead Men Walking in Yellow
and the Big Shout Out goes to Satan Orient with 105.
The H2H was won by BB&S and all the standings are unchanged:
The Crown still rests on the head of Dead Men Walking. I'm changing the name of my team to this next season.
There's no more games until April 2nd, though the GW30 results will be over on the Shed noticeboard. See you after the international break! By that time, Chelsea will be sold - tickets now being sold for all but home men's games.
