Sure, but only in terms of the following days hangover given the extra drinking time the band get with an early slot. Get the work done, then party. Another day at the beach. Sounds alright to me. Whether it's possible to party (and the exact nature of that partying) whilst Wardruna are warbling away is anyone's guess.

Well I was handsome and I was strong
And I knew the words to every song.
"Did my singing please you?"
"No! The words you sang were wrong!"

Jinjer are great, screamy shouty girl vocal death metalesque noise. Wardruna are .... rustic, let's leave it at that. Dumpy's Rustic Nuts indeed!eastmidswhizzkid wrote: ↑02 Jul 2022, 08:35 ive not heard of ANYONE on that line-up other than The Sisters!

Powerwolf is a metal band from my home turf Saarbrücken. And since Saarbrücken is a small town, their guitarist is actually a former work colleague of mine.
Clearly now the past mistakes

Can't believe my old login still works !
Anyway, I was there and what a great time we had. Hadn't seen the Girls in a looooong time and they didn't let us down. How weird to see the band in broad daylight. Obviously, being able to smoke onstage puts Uncle Eldo in a very good mood.
Maybe the excellent local wine and the gorgeous site helped but I'm not sure.
Actually, bigesst letdown was that the only beer they had was Kro-fcukin'-nenbourg !
And don't get fooled by the name : Guinness here is also brewed by Kro under license. I tried and it's true : the beer's significantly better in Dublin.
Oh and the bands before (Jinjer) and after (Powerwolf) were utter wank.
