For the twitterers among us

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

I know not everyone dips their toe into the twitterverse, but there are also a fair few who do. So I'll post this.
Iain does fairly regular twitter polls on bands nominated by other users & it seems somebody has requested he do a Sisters one.

So, if you're on the twitters, you may feel like prodding the the vote button every now & then & even offer up at least 7 songs for seeding purposes before the battle commences.
If you're not on the twitters, well, it's not a "walled garden" so anyone without an account should be able to see the results as they unfold :)
Cheers.

We should all choose "She's A Monster"
It is the best way to a)recognise us among other votes
b) put a small pressure to put again the song in their setlist
c) other to hear about that gem too
;D :bat:

It'll only be for officially released material.
It would be lovely to add the unreleased stuff, but I think a lot of participants won't have heard much of it

Most of the bands material is unreleased songs. Going with released material leaves most body of work out. So, i did it and received the reply that he didnt hear of those songs and replied back with links to yt ;D

I believei opened a window to him that was closed since 1991 (last time he saw them live, his word) ;D
Wish him well if he enters the rabbit hole  :bat:

Anything not on an official release is or is about to be trounced, not surprising really. Outside of a few local parishes that stuff just doesn't really exist.

I knew the last few rounds were going to be difficult but some of what's being kept alive and what's fallen is legit baffling.

Walk Away's going to win, isn't it? We'll all be left sitting there wondering how the f--k that happened.
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.
