We forgive as we forget
As the day is long.
As the day is long.
She went a bit overboard with the adjectives didn't she?

Not their best attempt at this traditional annual article from the Guardian, as I somewhat testily pointed out in their comments.

apart from the not-marc-almond soft cell guy saying -and rightly so- that Leeds was the goth capital (the only time that the city is mentioned in the whole article) the rest is all the bell-end "bat-cave" poseurs, talking about the scene as if it was a phase they were going through and have since disassociated themselves from. oh and that 29-year old dumb cunt at the end -someone born AFTER The Sisters stopped releasing records- saying that the young generation have nothing to fear from bullies; which, apart from being incredibly insulting to the life and death of Sophie Lancaster, is in utter ignorance of the internal bullying that the younger members of the scene have to endure from people telling "what is and what isnt goth". what a load of bollocks.
Well I was handsome and I was strong
And I knew the words to every song.
"Did my singing please you?"
"No! The words you sang were wrong!"
