Ah well looks like Charlie will have to wait for the pleasure of walking or getting a 5 min bus / train into Leeds to see a Sisters gig, next time maybe. In the meantime, take your pick from a bunch of UK shows. Decisions decisions. Very nice
And decisions made, Enterprise booked for 2 nights in September and Travelodge booked for 1 night in Manchester. Done and done
I went to book the Enterprise but they wanted 500 quid for the two nights, or 400 odd if I paid now. Went for the St Pancras Premier Inn instead.
Sure, Enterprise is not the cheapest, prices have almost doubled since the emerging-from-covid 2021 days, but then it's London and everything is expensive!
We've pushed the boat out as it's our 'holiday' for the year and we had such a fabulous time there last time!

the UK dates always get announced last (if we get any) so i am hopeful.
dear Mr Eldritch,
it would be lovely if you could put an extra date on the start of the european leg please - say 22nd september.? or as close to as poss.
prague or bulgaria or hamburg if not england would be fine as i have somewhere to stay in all those lovely places. but i need to know now so i can lean on my financial agent (my sister) in plenty of time. then you wont have to get me a present. cheers me duck.,
so it works.. you ask nicely and receive
dear Mr. Eldritch,
it would be lovely if you decide to put a certain awesome song on the set list for one or both of the Dutch gigs. we are the same Suzanne. and to dedicate to me would really tickle my fancy.
cheers me duckie

Looking forward to meeting you , Dave and other familiar faces again. And maybe some new fellow Heartlanders
I have seen The Sisters at The Paradiso. I will die happy
With massive thanks to Ruffers for his company and help.
A girl is never too old to wear a Sisters tshirt!
Some of the UK show destinations aren't easy to get to from Glasgow, no direct trains or flights.
So hopefully London, Bristol, Newcastle and Glasgow for me

And there was us wondering about how they'll get all those dates onto the back of a tour tee don't worry Liz, he can do the last few gigs in sign language if necessary. Anyway you seem to be doing the entire tour so you can keep us updated with how it's all going
Currently listening to the new Metallica album thinking how much better than this a new Sisters album would sound, hey ho.

HaHa...yes, the tour tshirt will be interesting.Available in xxxxxxl only
Sign language works for me.... just slightly concerned the rest of the Glasgow crowd may not be so appreciatve.
Anyway I'm considering messaging Ben and offering them free accommodation for the night

I don't think Glasgow will be the final gig (unless they manage Belgium somewhere in between) ... ...
An interesting possibility could be a bigger venue in Belgium (like Forest National) November 13. But I guess they wanna keep their double dates at AB.

Well I was handsome and I was strong
And I knew the words to every song.
"Did my singing please you?"
"No! The words you sang were wrong!"
In tjhe abscence of a "Play Leeds You Cunts" me & mr sinister was wondering about a Near Meth Experience sometime around the fall. to sort out the European/UK rig etc. Coul;d be a pissabolity.
Think i am going to try and see them in Bristol so i can take Rocky, He will love it...
EDIT: after looking at the Girls' schedule they have almost 3 months off between Brazil & my birthday gig in Camden. i am going to predict a Near Meth Experience in The Peoples Republic the week before around the 14th or 15th September. Cant see them wanting to do the 2 biggest UK dates without a warm up. Hence no Leeds gig. We will see innit, Or not.

not quite as direct as xmas 2005's 'see you all next year', but in the same ball park. Maybe a genuine request? Anyone got a sniper rifle?
May refer to a headline in the Saturday Evening Post, Nov 1957, on the dangers of motorsports. The 1955 24 Hours of Le Mans and the 1957 Mille Miglia had cost the lives of several drivers and spectators. Piero Taruffi, a 50-year-old racer, won the MM, but was rattled by the horrific accidents to pen a cautionary note. Soon after, all public road racing was halted in Italy.
"On December 10, 1945, Frances Brown was discovered with a knife lodged in her neck and bullet wound to the head in her apartment. Nothing was taken, but a message was written in lipstick on the wall: "For heavens Sake catch me Before I kill more I cannot control myself"."
"We're Hawkwind and this is a song about love." - , 1993
"We will miss them when they are gone" - M. Andrews, 2024
Finally the 2 summer festivals have been confirmed on the official website. Still no-one can be bothered to properly amend the Zagreb info or indeed care to make any mention of the Koln and Glasgow venues changing, with the not-insignificant date-change affecting Glasgow also. Strange.

At least we got them right.
When we sobered up
yes indeed we did maybe they could stretch letting us do their job for them a little further, and get Brother Lee up on stage playing bass on the next tour

Hi sharedgum, The reviews are mixed, which to me, means that the shows vary. Your best bet is to look around a bit at some of the available video clips. Things may be better overall, as the Sisters are heading back to their European stomping grounds.
