I know absolutely nothing apart from the bare text of the rumour as mentioned above; at a totally uninformed guess I'd say something to do with substances

Mindblowing really that Mr Tankian has organised a prime headline slot for them, that's amazing for a band that haven't released a record for centuries and not even toured there for yonks. On the downside, you'd have to bin off the second half of System's show to go see the girls. Curse the tradition of festival schedule clashes. No matter personally, here's hoping decent vids of both shows appear on yt soon enough.

Ez posted a setlist pic on Facebook which confirms this, but has Temple before Corrosion which is the usual way, unless they changed the order very last minute?
Maybe some more videos will turn up later to confirm :D

Oh I see that's interesting. Someone by the name of Ade Matthews on Facebook also says Temple after Corrosion.... I'd love some video proof either way :) :)

Typing as i listen,
We've still got a lot of ben doing his big daddy deep voice in DDOI
But I'm very happy to hear the return of the "From the wrong side, from the other side" in the chorus. Still missing "flame on... Speed on..." haha. Oop, there's a flame on!
Yeah, this is sounding goood. Ribbons is lussh

glad Dominion /Mother Russia is back in full. i totally get that it was a bit insensitive when the Ukraine was invaded but really its about Chernobyl raining down. . which is Pripyat. which is the Ukraine.

Well I was handsome and I was strong
And I knew the words to every song.
"Did my singing please you?"
"No! The words you sang were wrong!"

Well when asked if they played Mother Russia, Ez replied " Yes. And Regan was thanked"

Maybe we'll find out more about that too! :von:

Have the changed the first bit of the chorus on Don't Drive On Ice? It's muchbetter than just repeating the phrase.

The way it is now, is how it started out, but it was simplified at some point last year.

It was originally constructed as "AE (backing vox) AE". Something like:
You're looking out a window (Don't drive on ice) Don't drive on ice
From the wrong side (Don't drive on ice) Don't drive on ice
Flames on the other side (Don't drive on ice) Don't drive on ice
Don't drive on ice (Don't drive on ice)
There's a fair bit of footage from the first half of last year where AE kicks off the chorus with the "window" line, but it always felt a bit awkward for him to get through. At some point I think they simplified the first line to just "From a window" or thereabouts, presumably to see if they could squeeze it in a bit easier, but that didn't really do the trick either. Eventually they just simplified it right down so that it's just the backup vox for "Don't Drive On Ice" followed be AE repeating "Don't Drive On Ice", with the rather evocative first part of each line more-or-less removed.

(I always had the impression that this song was actually constructed around the idea of multi-tracked vocals, actually. Make of that what you will)

The first line of the chorus has now been given to Ben, which admittedly makes more sense, since he's doing a bit more fill-in for the lead vox this time around anyway - no harm in giving him a bit more of the chorus.

This was always a part of the song that tripped me up when singing along actually! I was rather glad when they changed it, but I'm equally glad to see they've found a way to bring it back in a workable fashion.
