TC definitely followed TOL
The guys were having huge fun. Never seen Von move around so much. He didn’t stop apart from his android thing. Ben and Dylan were also all over the stage.
DDOI is tweaked and worked well. Davey has done a bit of work too and played keyboard where he hadn’t before. Sound was great. Von was loud and clear.
The band previous to Sisters overran so amusingly you could hear doktor warming up every time a song ended. Sisters played about 45 minutes and the crowd really loved the “all the hits and more “ set presented to them.

I understand the requirements of playing a festival crowd, but disappointing to only get 2 new songs, and neither is "Here" or "Eyes of Caligula"
"We're Hawkwind and this is a song about love." - , 1993
"We will miss them when they are gone" - M. Andrews, 2024

These vids sound AMAZING.
Is it as simple as when they play outdoor festivals with (presumably) significantly more powerful audio systems they sound great, and Von's audio is clear and powerful, and when they play smaller venues with (sad to say) their own sound people, they . . . don't?

Like, when was the last time, you heard EVERY WORD Von sang? And that's a happy crowd at the end.
(At this rate, I'd love to hear a decent audience recording of the Sisters playing the new songs at a Festival like this, with a powerful PA)

And I'm also inclined to agree on your sound point as well - I heard the first YT vid from the LV club gig now and Ben was again higher in the mix, or so it sounded at least. Edit: Although LV2 still sounds FAR better than DC.
