Happened to watch Christine and the Queens on the Glastonbury coverage and was blown away. Literally, never heard her before. An extremely powerful performance, unlike anything else I've seen and great music.

This new Swans album, The Beggar is all I've listened to since it dropped. Like most things under that name the last few years, it's not so much a collection of songs as it is a complete, cohesive album. I like it more than I liked leaving meaning.

I'm listening to the new PiL album, End of World, and really enjoying it so far. Lydon's voice has taken on a scratchiness as it has aged that I really like. Second (I think) single below:

I spent half a day watching their live sessions on YouTube.. Well worth a look. Stephanie's didgeridoo solos are something else.
