New music discoveries

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

I’ve had the debut full-length by the Mary Wallopers on heavy rotation lately. Recommended if you like the Pogues or the Dubliner or just have a thing for questionable fashion choices:

Untitled Burial is the one I go back to the most at the moment. Witch House and the surrounding genres is the order of the day. 90% of it is s**t, but when it hits the mark it is unholy.

I listen to a lot of ambient livestreams too, like CryoChamber, Iron Cthulu Apocalypse, and State Azure.
Burial's latest "Antidawn" was very good IMO. Then again, Burial always delivers.

This live rooftop DJ performance might be something for you:

If you like the CryoChamber stuff I recommend some Miles To Midnight for example...

As a result of Killing Eve I am huge Unloved fan. They have three fantastic albums. Go buy them all and play them very loud.

It's not a new discovery, but I amreally digging the three tracks that have been released off of the Queens of the Stone Age record that drops tomorrow.

Honestly, past year or so, I've discovered so many incredible bands that I've began to realise that the best things in music are always happening right now.
And whaddya know, they ended up covering Dominion

If a bit of psychedelic/ garage is your jam, then take a ride through their youtube channel. It's a thing of wonder
The new single is (i think) bloody amazing

Also worth looking at the various live sessions on the YT too. Watch out for didgeridoo solos ;)
Cheers.

This one song by this band is definitely an ode to the Sisters.
