Jon Robb with Guitar Sister Mark April 11th Pocklington

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

Just noticed that GM is appearing with Jon Robb on the latter’s forthcoming ‘tour’

Not sure of the date, but I’d assume it’s Leeds (28th April)

Happy for this to be corrected if anyone knows different.

If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

   I’d love to go, but won’t make it from Germany.
I trust you good people who live in the vicinity to report verbatim what Gary / Mark said. :notworthy:

To the uniniated, it's a spoken word tour, with Robb interviewing the evening guest during the second half.

Doubtful Mark will play a single note, but should have some nice TSOM/GD stories on tap.

That’s what I was hoping for. Keeping my fingers crossed that someone here will attend.

So that'll be April 11th

Anyone going?

Currently negotiating a pass out with with Mrs Q as she already had a gig planned in Manchester that evening... but she acknowledges that this is a once in a lifetime kinda thing.

Be great to see some familiar faces there (not on the stage) :D

Wouldn't Old Woollen make more sense?
I'd be at that for sure if this was there.

The guy in the picture said he started to film but then gave it up. And there was somebody else in the audience who filmed it completely. I really hope it‘s someone from here. Me too I‘d love to see or hear it.

John Robb has kindly made this available online.
