who got infos about the wea promo box ?

There are 2 different versions:

Both are black boxes with center left a listing of all the tracks from 4x 12"s namely the Alice 12", Reptile House E.P., Temple 12" and Body & Soul 12" & center right the boxed Sisters logo ...
The difference is that one has a black lettering on silver background print and the other has white lettering printed directly onto the black box,

... but you should ask (or pm) Y for more info ...

I Have Both:-

1)Wea Promo Only Box

I did have 2 copies of the above

Black Box - (White Lettering) incl 4 x 12" singles + P/S
Alice, Reptile House, Temple of Love & Body & Soul.
Some came with photos & insert

Not sure has many Promos were pressed,
ive not see many about i know of 5

This now legendary Box was made to promote the band signing to Wea/Warners

Rumour has it it was a bootleg?


But my copy :-
This now legendary Wea Box - (white on black) was
purchased as a Test Press of the Promo Box
My copy came from nick jones & various memorobilla which is why i bought it

Not sure has many Test Press were pressed,
Ive not see many about i know of 3

The offical box came with a press release and black and white photo and was pressed when the SISTERS signed for WEA (i can scan the sheets if required) I would say about 5 - 10 originals exist. There was a bootleg made and some guy in Leeds was knocking them out for a large amount of money around the time of 1992 ish. The odd thing is that when Andrew Pinnell researched the Heartland book WEA / Warners denied ever making them!
