Return of the YCBTO Appreciation Society

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

Genius. Simple. And Anti-hippy-filth genius at that. Bonus.

This is a song that truly speaks to me.
It says, "Shake your tail feather."
I comply.

I actually forgot this song existed for a while, haha.

Has anyone noticed that (how silly of me to ask...) that the lyrics are wrong on the Rhino-reissue Visioin Thing insert?

You can give me head
And run your fingers through my hair

Link to the thread where this has been discussed already will do nicely as a reply, thanks.

The song is fun but it has never satisfied me for the same reason "Anaconda" doesn't satisfy me. There's no mystery in the lyrics.

Was thinking about Blast recently as his birthday would have been last month.
I remember going to his 50th birthday BBQ and , as a gift, I made and framed a YCBTO gold disc for him.
Cheers.

I remember that. With "crime scene, do not cross" tape all over it.

Weird to think that we're older now than he was then.
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

That's a sobering thought, which is not something he'd approve of!
