Announced on the venue's website ... :D ...

Don't know why they have to chose the worst band photo ever for this tour, but hell ... ...

Btw, the Greek Theatre is a fully cash-free venue that only accepts debit and credit cards. Where else if not in the US, sigh ... :P ...
Audio/Video Recording Equipment are not permitted, they say... :innocent: ...

I've noticed that plenty venues (not necessarily this one) allow only for transparent small bags to be taken in ... so better check for each venue what they allow and what not. Parking can also be more difficult than expected sometimes asking even for an extra ticket to pre-order...

Anyone have a presale code for this show?

Don’t think I’ve yet been to the greek. Who cares about cash these days, I haven’t had a dollar bill in years.

It being LA I’m expecting parking to be an absolute s**t show

Recently a few venues I've been to in the UK are also cash free.

Yeah, it's spreading everywhere and started with the credit card boom in the US in te 1990s ... might have some advantages, but also disadvantages ...

Pre-sale is going on now here. You are asked to produce an "Enter Offer Code" ...
but it is possible to book seats without one. Seats in the first six rows from the stage are between 450-250 US$ + fees and can be booked anytime...  ...
Section A rows A-T seats are 110 US $ + fees, also bookable right now without any code. Seats further back in Sections B and C are $69.50 or $49.50, but only available with an offer code ... hell how complicated ... reading the extended FAQ might help get an offer code, perhaps only by registring for an account in some places ... *oh sigh... but well, maybe that's what you're used to in the US, so it's easily done ... :) ...

450 dollars to see the Sisters? Crikey. You would be somewhat miffed if you paid that and they brought the smoke machine back on full strength.

Now then. How coincidental. Haven’t been on here for ages and lo and behold I discover Mr E is playing at what looks like an amazing venue when I’ve already planned a trip to LA. Super.

Is Quantum Baby actually good? I'm trying but I don't hear anything great there myself. Each to their own and all that but it sounds like an album filler at best to me.

I enjoy the voicing movement between those chords, solid riff and how well-finished it is.

That said, the whole thing is very Dylan-y, Em key, call/response, piano-driven melody.
I wouldn't be surprised if this song came up in the same session as Kickline, Genevieve, and Here.

Is it good? well... I don't think I'm in a good position to judge that, after all I have dozens of unpopular opinions that our fanbase wouldn't agree on.
(E.g: YCBTO is not bad, Floorshow 09 is pretty groovy, Arms is actually a banger, Still is a good song with bad rep, getting rid of FALAA songs on the set was a mistake etc etc).

Putting all that aside, I'd say it's a fine tune. Compared to the rest of the batch of new songs, it probably pales in comparison to Show Me or Caligula, but it's not bad at all.

Now that we have a video with this song intro played fully, it doesn't start with the reverse-snare sounds, which means that whatever Chris played by accident a couple of days ago before the encore was NOT this song, so we might have more surprises to come. (Or not, just a reminder that Shes a monster, New World Order and Kickline exists and we prolly won't see them back anytime soon  )

I think it's good, but right now it's reminding me too much of their 90s cover of Confide in Me, and I'm not quite sure what to make of that.
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

And that, like a lot of the new ones, a lyrically meandering verse section makes it a luttle hit or miss. But i think the riff is solid and the chorus is, like, WELL catchy.

New World Order is a 15-minute MIDI sax solo!
