Where are you off to? Enquiring minds need to know

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Approx timings for the event are 8-10pm, apparently

The venue is 5 mins from the station and my last train back from Hull is approx 10:05, so I may miss the last few mins, but it should be fun :)

I expect it to be pretty low key, and very informal, with a hint of sillyness.

Anyone joining me?
Unfortunately not! I would so love to go. But I have so many appointments at work around the weekend that I can’t.
It‘d be lovely if you could tell us what it was like.
I really like Gary, favourite Sister apart from Von. :D Hope it’s going to be a blast.

"Did my singing please you?"

After a bit of a bad year, financially speaking, my gig going habit has been curtailed somewhat but these are the ones I've got tickets for...

December 5, The Slow Readers Club, Manchester

December 28, Lottery Winners, Manchester

February 25, Fish, Manchester

April 3, Skunk Anansie, Nottingham

May 25, SOM, London

(would have been going to New Model Army in Nottingham, 21 December but they've cancelled all dates for the rest of the year... )

I will never understand how The Slow Readers Club are so under-rated... only discovered them a couple of years ago and it was a joy to catch up with their output. Seen them live twice and they're brilliant. They should be much better known than they are. :?

Just back from Whitby Goth weekend which was superb as usual. Musical highlight for me was Black Doldrums on Saturday night. Well worth a listen, nice people too very chatty at the merch stand after.

You'll have a great night, he was brilliant in Leeds. When I saw him at the O2 a few years ago he somehow managed to make that big place seem quite intimate.

I'm imagining up to 20,000 people singing Into My Arms along with Nick Cave and a piano right about now.

Just home from Hugh Cornwell. I've seen the Stranglers loads, but this was my first time seeing Hugh. He's still got the classic growl, and his solo stuff is just fine. Will see again.

Next week: HOOOOOKKKYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hooky tonight, Substance show. I'm pretty sure I've seen this one before, but Hooky always does a good show.
