I've seen Theatre a few times and always enjoy them immensely; they'll likely come over here as well, they generally tend to and Kirk seems to like the place. They're a bit more in the tribal "drums and shouting" style, which is more to my tastes than the swirly atmospheric guitar stuff.Planet Dave wrote: ↑10 Dec 2024, 22:45 Just booked tickets for Theatre Of Hate at the Brudenell next October on their Westworld album tour, supported by Skeletal Family. Can't say I'm remotely familiar with TOH besides the odd number (which is as likely to be a Spear Of Destiny track anyway) but plenty of time to catch up on what I've been missing these last decades, if nowt else we'll go along and support Charlie's mate Ian the Saxophonist in Skeletal Family.

Update : to add to the list of goings whereings...Planet Dave wrote: ↑05 Feb 2025, 20:00 Not so much a Where Are You Off To as a Where Are You Going To Try To Get To, the Black Sabbath and chums show at Villa Park. Reckon it'll be a nightmarish ticketmaster sludgefest resulting in zero tickets purchased, but ya never know.
wow you got tickets, that's impressive!Planet Dave wrote: ↑11 Feb 2025, 12:47

Black Sabbath / Ozzy / Metallica / Slayer / etc - July 5th, Villa Park. Lovely.
It was extremely surprisingly smooth tbh. Joined the waiting room when it opened 15 minutes before 10am, auto-joined the queue at 10, 909 ahead of me in the queue at which point I knew it was looking good, 20 seconds later I was trying to pick 2 seats which were admittedly disappearing faster than I could click on them. That was the only mildly stressful bit. I've since seen that ticketmaster did indeed turn into a sh1tstorm for very many people so we got lucky for sure.sziamiau wrote: ↑11 Feb 2025, 13:45wow you got tickets, that's impressive!Planet Dave wrote: ↑11 Feb 2025, 12:47
