Re-re-run of currently watching

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Has anyone seen the 28 years later trailer ? the best trailer I've seen in years .
How was Nosferatu?

I'm watched Buckaroo Bonzai, Tank Girl, Agatha Always, a 9 part documentary on the nuclear weapon, Barbie (cause I just needed some pink and happiness) and a documentary on fascism...oh sorry that is the news in the US.

Star Wars Skeleton Crew which isn't a million miles from The Goonies in Space and no worse for it. After loads of Star Wars spin offs of increasingly less fun this is a welcome relief. Even Jude Law is good in it.

Talking of Star Wars its now only a month until the second season of Andor is finally released. anyone would think they filmed the bloody thing a long time ago and in a galaxy far far away! Cant wait though, its far and away the best thing in the whole franchise IMO.|

I've had a subscription to Disney + for some time, partly to have access to the whole Star Wars universe, but not much time to watch much TV: which of these series is actually worth investing time in to start?

The Mandalorian is an excellent place to start.
Totally swerve The Book of Boba Fett on account of it being utter cr@p.
Cheers.

Thanks! Now that I've finished Dune: Prophecy finally, I'll give this a shot :)

The list of 'utter crap' in the franchise gets longer, although to be fair shows like Ahkosa -which i personally didnt like - must be aimed at the kids who would probably have loved it. Again i have to heartily recommend 'Andor' which has minimal 'droid humour' and barely a mention of 'the Force'.*

*i have no real problem with the concept of the Jedi and The Force, merely that its portayed in such a cheesy, Paul Daniels-meets-Harry Potter, bippity-boppity-boo kind of way.

Thanks for both recommendations of The Mandalorian and Andor gentlemen! So is it Ahkosa specifically that is making A Farce of The Force? I don't like the idea that the concept is dumbed down that way for kids either; it wasn't that way when I first saw the original film as a kid.
