Digging through more tapes this week I have a 1st/2nd gen Glasgow 85 tape (the notes escape me at the moment) which is a rather fine recording - I don't think its rare in any trading circles, before we go there - but what I'm interested in is the soundcheck that floats around for this gig.
As far as I know this circulates in crap or really crap quality only - but at the end of this tape there is a very small snippet (less thann a minute) of it in stunning quality, really sharp - theres not much 'hot action' going off in the recording itself as per most s/c's but I was wandering if anybody has a version that is dead good as opposed to crap - this adds to my theory of people downgrading and spoiling tapes prior to trading them out.
