The delights of geneva aeroport...

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

Officer Fakes reprting in from one of those weird ass free internet jobbies at Geneva Airport... Bloody Marvellous gig to be honest! All seemed in fine fettle, opened with lucretia! We got Neverland too! Sorry for the excess of exclamation marks, but they were deserved...No new tunes that I noticed, but I was (surprise) completely bladdered...ahem. Good turn out of the regulars, decent sound, no major hitches to speak of... Can't wait for the next one now...I'll do a longer write up when I get back to s**t old england, and I've had enough time to fill in my memory gaps with some completely made up crap (I'm still a music journo after all) })

@ RobF

You wouldn't be a relatively short gentleman with a labret piercing and a shaved head?
For some time now I've suspected you're the guy I met a M'era Luna, Glasgow, York & London.

Sounds like me! And what would your good self look like?

As for "relatively" ...just call me short, it's true, and I don't mind.

Seeing as I'm only 5' 4" myself, you'll understand why "short" is a relative term as far as I'm concerned.
The first couple of times we met I had longish hair. The last couple of times I had a flat top.
Beyond that, I am as thin as the proverbial lie (currently at my top fighting weight of 98lb's).
It's mainly metabolic...
Oh, and there's the obligatory "classic" Merciful Release head & star tattooed on my left shoulder.

And every time we've met you were indeed worse for wear.

Ah ha! Our friend from North of the border? And yes, that tattoo should be obligatory, all the best people have one ;D

Thanks for the concern, but you may rest assured I am one fit and well bunny.
You'd be surprised how much I eat and, more importantly, digest! Food is something I enjoy very much, particularly with a nice bottle of wine.
I guess I just have one of those metabolisms...

...disgusting, ain't it?

@ RobF
I am indeed that Scottish person.
Should obligatory tattooing be based on number of gigs attended or miles travelled, I wonder?

I think the furthest I've travelled by land for a Sisters gig in one go was Glasgow to Nottingham, and Rock City is about 30seconds from my house

Yeah, i know, i'm like that too, i eat and eat and eat and it is so damn hard to gain weight. If i don't eat enough for one day, the next day i lost a 5 pounds, it IS disgusting. Start exercising, it helped me. Quit the booze, the drugs, the late nights and hit the gym

@ SINsister
It's personality that counts, dear.

Now, can anyone get us back on topic, or should we
adjourn to the General Chat forum?
