Got my FALAA signed at the HMV shop in Leeds at a signing session the day before they played Leeds Uni on the tour.
Due to quick thinking I whipped out the inner sleeve and got that signed as well, although Von didn't sign under his piccy like the others.
So; outer sleeve signed on back in gold/silver pens Gary Marx, Andrew Eltritch, That Guitarist and Craig Adams.
Slip sleeve signed Marx Marx Marx, Andrew Eltritch, That Guitarist and Craig Adams.
How much is it worth?
I'd quite like to keep one set so maybe a semi-swap deal for the slip sleeve?
And while I'm at it - purely hypothetically at this point - at the same signing session I also had Alice 7/12", Temple 12", Body and Soul 12" and I think No Time To Cry 12" signed as well, again all four band members in gold/silver pens.
Someone ballpark me.
I also have FALAA / Black October tour shirts, not really wearable but potentially frameable and a couple of gargantuan posters which will be nigh on impossible to ship but are gathering dust in my attic at the moment and are unlikely to make it back onto my walls any time soon.
I'll dig my camera out an pop some piccies on later if anyone shows any interest.
Laters, pop kids...
Fully autographed gatefold FALAA. How much?
You'll make a mint off of Robin on ebay!mik wrote:Got my FALAA signed at the HMV shop in Leeds at a signing session the day before they played Leeds Uni on the tour.

Or you could always PM him?
I thought I'd rather let em go to someone who'd love em - if indeed I let em go at all!Big Si wrote:You'll make a mint off of Robin on ebay!

Rather worryingly I appear to be missing several of the items, although at what point they went AWOL is unclear as I haven't actually dragged my vinyl out for a good while
Anway, a few piccies of the bits I've located so far:
No 1 - FALAA gatefold, back sleeve
No 2 - FALAA slip sleeve
No 3 - Body and Soul
No 4 - Walk Away
for the pics!
Let them go to a good home?
Come on now, there's the rent/mortgage to pay, shoes for the kids, new dress for the mrs...etc, etc!

They only had four pens and there was a big queue. Duh!markfiend wrote:<Oldest Sisters joke in existence>Why didn't Doktor Avalanche sign them?</Oldest Sisters joke in existence>
Craig Adams was the bottleneck on the queue as far as I recall on account of writing very carefully like he wasn't used to it
To clarify; I'm not neccesarily going to sell these items; I'm more curious to know what the going rate is for a full set of "classic original lineup (the good Doktors absence notwithstanding,) autographs with a good provenenace.
