anyway of getting sisters bootlegs in australia?

Have you established a good reputation at HL and got some Sisters stuff to sell or trade with the community? Or are you searching for that elusive ultra rare live bootleg from 1988? Ever had a bad experience with a trader on Ebay? Let us all know here. Outdated threads will be purged over time.

hey, is there anyway i can get sisters bootleggs without using the internet in australia?

like is there any mail order or shops or something?

i picked up 'neon dream' for 20 and need to get more dammitt!!!!

Hi Ryan, Welcome to Heartland :D

Nowadays, it is almost impossible to find new factory bootlegs for sale in Australia. I sometimes see a few of the more common bootlegs in the second hand racks of a couple of Sydney record stores ...bring your chequebook :wink:

By far, the best shop here for anything related to the Sisters is "Heartland Records" in Melbourne. The guy that runs it is, AFAIK, the biggest Sisters collector here. You're not likely to find new bootlegs (they're illegal) but they usually have heaps of second hand stuff. They also run (ran?) a record label, also called Heartland Records, which has signed a few local bands that sound similar to the Sisters.

IMO, the best way is to use the internet to buy a few bootlegs, and then trade with people from overseas.
