Hello all. just got back from a holiday in Antarctica (it was very hot.) While there, I was reading the (English) times newspaper over a penguin burger when I was astonished to find a full page story about how ex- March Violets singer Rosie Garland had been terrorised by a crazy stalker!
I can't find the times article online, but here is the story from another website:
http://www.manchesteronline.co.uk/news/ ... _poet.html
Bizarre! I bet this is the most press exposure that the March Violets have ever had!!!!
Also, I'd like to add that I recently met ms. Lugosi, and she is lovely.

its all an act, ergo there's no reason to inform the authorities or get a lynch mob outMiss Garland, who says her work as Rosie Lugosi is a tongue in cheek comedy act, said: "This poor woman has intruded into my life for nearly three years and it has been a grim time.
good job n one looks at her website: http://www.rosielugosi.co.uk/

in fact she seems to have dropped the "lesbian" reference from her own personal site. maybe it was bad publicity, or someone mentioned it might compromise hers and childline's reputations

I believe there was a Dutch woman once who did the whole green biro thing and one or two others who were very strange but did not quite merit injunctions.

Mad people favour green biros.
Well known fact, in other words, probably no basis in truth at all.
By the whole green biro thing I meant starting with I love you & ending with I'm going to kill you.

Apparently, if you send a letter in the UK, and write the address in green biro, the post office will always open it and check it's content, in case it's a threatening letter, or something.straylight wrote:Mad people favour green biros.

If anyone's really bored, it's perhaps worth a try.

Man, I use green biros. Usually just for crosswords (go figure) but I do use them.
