If any UK HLers are considering doing the US gigs (esp. the east coast ones - if no NY gig is planned then I'm up for Pittsburgh) then my floor is available. Mr. & Mrs. Q.Uiffboy have dibs on the sofa bed but I can probably get another 2/3 people in sleeping bags dotted about the place.

Generous offer EB :notworthy: :notworthy: I first read that as two thirds, in which case I'd probably still fit!

If memory serves, your beard might make up the remaining 1/3 of a person, no?

(That is to say, I thought you had a beard in 06, but then I had spent the afternoon above the chemist and was convinced that Miss Eva was 11'4" tall and was wearing Dennis the Menace socks, so I could well be mistaken) :innocent:

So it looks like they're working their way west, which suggests that any NYC dates will be prior to 10/31, probably after the 20th. If no NYC show appears then I'm up for the Philly gig.

The choices are "entertainment" or "death", "Minneapolis" is not an option.

So who's up for Nov 3 at the NY Fillmore?

Not being a masochist, I'll have quit this f*cking demoralizing waste of time that passes for a job by then, so I'll be free on that Monday night! Well, here's hoping, anyway... I don't own a sleeping bag, though. :|

By a serendipitous quirk of fate I've just ordered a sleeping bag for my trip at the end of September, so all you'd need bring is yourself and a smile 8)

Hey, I'm not even being greedy and asking for more Canadian dates. Minneapolis is at least an 8 hour drive which I am more than ready to do. Beats flying to Toronto!

Wow. This is actually looking like a serious tour of the States. Again. They're playing some unusual locations, too--did they play Cleveland or the 'Nati last time?

Either way, hopefully they'll hit Dallas/Fort Worth again.

Would guess the southwest is out in favour of the southeast and mid west.

Minneapolis would be a logical option between Chicago and Denver....

And if they do play Winnipeg, I will offer accomodations for anyone who could come, scouts honour!

You reckon :von: has told Ben and Chris yet? :innocent:
Come to that, has Mr Thrasher informed :von: ?

Don't worry, I'm only jealous.
Too far. Too expensive.
Bugger. :(

Yup...but there is also a space between Vancouver and Vegas...maybe you could hope for Calgary or something? They've never been there and also it would be relatively close for the Edmontoners as well...

Calgary would certainly be a top choice as well.

this isn't normal. It's sick. I used to see them on posters of some tiny festivals in Europe, now there's a whole tour in the USA...

Mr. Catalyst is driving the van or what?

Yeah, my only hope is Minneapolis if announced, or I'll see everyone in Toronto again (an maybe Montreal??)

Haha, dinky daisy's avatar made me laugh out loud. Love it, brilliant. i'm probably too drunk but not drunk enough (give it 30 minutes).

Oh yeah, great thing about the tour. Hope there'll be lots of recordings as a bum like me can't afford to travel that far :D
