Maybe it's NINE WHILE NINE part 2.Sonya Marmeladova wrote:Is it only syntesizers and machines except from the song?markfiend wrote:Never been performed live.Sonya Marmeladova wrote:Does "driven like the snow" not often come in concerts? "as we walk on the floodland"
I love Driven like the Snow too. One of my favourites. And 1959. And Flood II, and, and... oh I just like all the slow ballad types!
I know I'm weird, but I never cared much for FALAA and Marian (maybe cause I'm a Floodland person, or because FALAA was the kind of album my sister + her juvenile delinquent type friends had on heavy rotation when they would get stoned and puke in the bath tub), but in the Christo/Catalyst live versions I can't get enough of them.

It is not so weird, they are very different albums.Sita wrote:I love Driven like the Snow too. One of my favourites. And 1959. And Flood II, and, and... oh I just like all the slow ballad types!

First and last and always is more like regular rock I think, a little harder and straightforward. I think Marian has a beautiful melody, and I LOVE Possession!!
Floodland more poetic, mystic and syntetic? music.
In Floodland I think Neverland and Flood I are the best songs.
I do not like 1959 at all, it sounds so AMERICAN.

However, the melody in the song called "first and last and always" is almost the same as "driven like the snow", very similar almost like it is just a rougher variation of the same song.Sita wrote:I love Driven like the Snow too. according to http://tours.tsom.org/faq.htm
Driven Like the Snow (snippets were sung in 1992/06/27 Birmingham show)
so it's not an absolutely never
i heard this concert, it was lovely, they played even 1959 intro in that one

I'm curious, why is Poison Door so popular with Sisters fans?

Rumors , never proved true
I actually like YCBTO as all proper fans
Ofc this statement will lead to another endless fighting how bad or good this song is

Thanks for the welcome!
Oh, I didn't mean to start any arguments, I was once sent a CD by a friend with 5 versions of Poison Door on it and was a bit bemused as to why
It's good to dance to, I suppose and each to their own
