In a flat above the chemists
Andy and Claire are dressing to kill
But they don't come out till after dark

:von:
I never knew they actually did include both Von and his gf at the time in their lyrics! Btw... does anyone know what happened to Claire?

Claire's still in Leeds I think. I saw her doing some shopping a few months -- or it might be a couple of years now -- ago.

I'm sorry I missed the chance. After all, normally I always carry my camera around on the off-chance of bumping into someone I don't know well enough to say more than "hello" to, and ask her for a photograph to post on a web forum for fans of her ex-boyfriend's band. :P

Are you telling me you DON'T then? :)

Well, I suppose I do now, in that my mobile phone has a camera on it. But the last time I saw Claire was before I got this handset.

I'm pretty sure there are people on here who know Claire a lot better than I do; after all, I just used to hassle her for requests when she was DJing years ago. Whenever I've said "hi" since, she's said "hi" back, but I think that's probably just her being polite rather than actually remembering me

Come to think of it...sounds like a pretty good excuse for taking her pic... Well, at least to me.. :P

And you boys thought "You can stand all night
At a red light anywhere in town" is about working in a store for halogen light bulbs, right?
technically a red light is either infrared or just plain red at the lower end of the kelvin light spectrum,
interestingly tho, the orangish streetlamps are called SOX or SON and are sodium based,
as in 'the light shines clear thru the sodium haze'
that in itself is technically incorrect as to shine clear, or blue-ish or more natural light comes from the old MBF (mercury lamps) or now the preferred weapon of choice in white light is MH (metal halide)
i bet your'e glad i sorted that out?
