Unknown songs and demos, who wrote what, who sang what, the usual biographies, discography gubbins, photos of Eldritch with no sunglasses, etc, etc, etc, yadda, yadda, yadda....
Ah yes, I'd forgotten about that. There's another connection too. The phrase "In German, gift means poison" is used in the book. Eldo once used the same phrase in an interview when being asked about the Sisterhood record.

That's pretty much what I would have guessed too. There's normally never a deep meaning behind these things - he'd probably just read something like At the Mountains of Madness or whatever shortly before, and if there's one thing that most people remember from Lovecraft it's his use of the word "eldritch".
ha, i didn't know that
i guess it's time to read H.P. in original
and thank you for the Philip Dick reference - now i remember, where i've seen this "Eldritch" word before
There's also a rather tragic female character in "The Three Stigmata of Palmer Eldritch" called Emily and interactive (once you've taken a hallucinogen called Can-D) sex dolls called Perky Pat (only available in the colonies).
If you don't have the time to read the book (shame on you...make the time), a good synposis can be found here.
I don't necessarily agree with everything I think.

how did you know that?
by reading anything and everything to do with the band that i could get my hands on in the last 20-odd years.
i can't remember what publication it was originally from but there an interview in the sisters' scrapbook (the unofficial purpley photocopied one available in the 80's) entitiled "the man that time forgot" or somesuch in which his real name is given as benjamin matthews.
