I have been toying around with the idea for some time now ,of making the Under the gun design in Stained glass.
I'd like to see a Temple of Love in stained glass but I can imagine it would be a Serious Pain In The Ar$e to accomplish. I spent a summer working in a stained glass studio, mostly restoring pieces - lots of work, but hugely satisfying.

ok, let's be fair. Your jacket and that toyota was utterly bastard fine.

Leave it to the pro's but let's stop trying to print 5K pixeled jpg's and mix it up with paintbrush art.

Once i saw a geek in a selfmade shirt with a jaguar print and the ridiculous comic sans font shouted "SISTERS 4-EVER". Please. Whoever he is or was, i think he must be punished.

Geez dinky daisy you definately do have the Dutch way of stating things now don't you? I agree with you on the "ridiculous comic sans font" though!

One question off topic are you male or female?

:notworthy: Good work! Not sure about the car though ... A '59 Cadillac Hearse would be better! Surely such artwork invited a 'key-ing' (or worse) from some scumbag? I guess you must have parked it somewhere safe?! :innocent:

Going to have to give this one serious thought - until about 30 seconds ago it was a pipe-dream, but having seen your site I'm really tempted. Probably not a window (I live in a co-op and I can't see getting the building to allow me to put in a 7'x5' TOL in my living room), but I can think of any number of places that a small piece in a wooden frame would go...

I used to have the MR logo on the front of my Polo - after some twonk pinched the VW badge during that daft hiphop/Beastie Boys craze.

I photocopied the back of one of the singles covers, glued it onto a plastic beer barrel cap and then varnished it.

Thought it looked good at the time. Sadly I don't think I ever took a photo of it :(

Just seen your site and I say: do it. Make it huge and make it in some unexpected place where a lot of people shall keep passing it by without ever realising what it is. 8) A train station, an underground passage exit, where sun would play with it at day and city lights at night. That would be quite a challenge, I know, I'm just thinking aloud here. I once used to imagine such a construction made of the shiny scraps that suround the local steelwork, as emerging from the local clay-pit pond. A scarecrow against the fishermen and juvenile delinquents who spoil the beauty of the place.
So much for conceptual art, and as for more practical DIY stuff, I recently cut a really embarassing, really out-of tune, really painful to hear (read: sheer beauty, of course) fragment of "Stop Dragging My Heart Around" and managed to install it on my mobile phone, so that this is what the calling person hears in their receiver instead of the standard bleep bleep (I'm sure there is a one short English word for it ). Well anyway, the purpose was to discourage people like aunts and workmates from ringing me all the time just to ask questions like "how's things", or "how's it going?", to which I never know what to answer and which generally annoy me. It seems to work. 8)

Oh yes, I need to know that, too. In fact I've been pondering about it for a while. I'll tell you why when you tell me.

Oh dear _emma_
Like you I was wondering and then...

Wait, you and I have been together for such a short while in a car in A'dam and slight encounters at other gigs! We have both shared something special and so in my book here on HL we are friends and I'll always tell you in all honesty what I know as I believe in sharing in our world...

I actually remember asking this question in real and the answer I got (now my memory if I've met the said person in real fades me  ) BUT our lovely dinky daisy is indeed male.

Many as user I've found out for real is a woman's name or female inclination but the person behind the computer turns out to be male most of the time! Super Bob that has never been back was also a punk lady in A'dam the real punky type we know here...so dear _emma_

There's a bit of honest information for you!
