Is Glastonbury dismal this year

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Florence & The Machine were ace, as was Pendulum and The Boss

The steam rising off Bruce was a striking image

Going to a secret gig tonight so will be recording todays highlights

You know what they say - one man's big bottom is another man's meat.

Though I still say it's comparatively large compared with the rest of her.
Not that this is a bad thing.

Her music is relatively bland but at least she made the effort and provided a show.

Did you check out the lame-ass bassist and guitarist? At least the drummer seemed to be making an effort - there again, I am bias :D

Bruce was, in a word, incredible! Never seen anyone pull off a festival appearance like that, EVER. The E Street Band were just immense. Loved every second of it, and I didn't expect to hear myself saying that about Bruce.

Neil Young on the other hand was dirgy pish

There were other people on stage? :innocent:

I think my musical objectivity might have been largely compromised by this point.

Aww - it was summat different, rather than floppy-haired, angst-ridden Emos wailing, surely? Don't expect you to start wearing daft shades and metal dresses, but you gotta admit that?
