Is Glastonbury dismal this year

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Has anyone ever seen the fragrant Natasha Bat in the same room at the same time as Lily (my Dad's a cock but I'm worse) Allen?

The 'Tap have moved things up a gear and I was wrong, it's not as dismal as last year's: Derek Smalls has just said "Without Michael Jackson there'd be no Spinal Tap" and they got a bevy of maiden's on stage swinging their booties for 'Big Bottom' even if Cock is Jarver joined them on bass it's a very wonderful thing :D

Nope!
Just seen it and he blew me away, I need to record that performance, can anyone tell me when it'll be on again?
I only caught it by flipping channels, BBC4 said it was CZzzzzN that were on.
Young was on blistering form!

Outstanding! a crate of beer for him and his team :D :notworthy:

Which is not to say it isn't just fine by me. :D

One of my earlier musical heroes. :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy: Not to mention the source of much adolescent lust. (For that, you did have to be there... )

When I was living in the Bay Area back in the '90s, he'd occasionally show up unannounced in some bar in The Haight with a few friends and/or bandmates and just blow everybody away jamming. It may, as he has said himself, all be the same song, but he can play it forever as far as I'm concerned. :D

Guess I'm in the minority then because I reckon this is the best Glastonbury for several years (apart from the Jacko tributes :urff: ).

Whatever you say about Ms Allen, she writes some very amusing and often bitter lyrics.
Lady GaGa on the other hand merely has a huge arse that spinal Tap might well pay homage too, but somehow I had to watch.

Beyond that, I loved The Specials, Pendulum, Franz Ferdinand, The Dead Weather and Florence & The Machine. Ms Welch has my total respect for being able to climb a lighting gantry wearing her pants, ludicrous high heels and holding a microphone in one hand!

I'm sure Mr Jones and Mr Cave will deliver quality sets today and despite the silly Hippy trappings I'm looking forward to watching Bat For Lashes.

James, my learned friend, have you no soul left?

Get with the programme, people!
Marriages end, homes have to be broken up and sold, a cardboard box might have to be lived in, but at least there's music to dance to!

PS.

Fleet Foxes are crap.
You are what you drink - I'm a bitter man!
