Yeah logic has been around since the 80s. Apple bought it from a German company emagic in the early noughties

Wow, I stand corrected. It seems a lot older than that. I started using Cubase in the late 80s and my friend who was a composer got me into all that MIDI stuff. I could have sworn he had emagic logic on his amiga back then. And MOTUs Digital Performer was the other one if I remember he was using. And by 95 I was already in the states. So even though I’d trust Wiki over my own memory those dates aren’t quite adding up for me. There’s a gap in my database.
