I didn't take any pics in the end because I was stuck behind a load of other people in the crowd which gathered round the beer garden overlooking the route (and of course it's timsinister's job, being HL's Official big gay northernerâ„¢, or so I'm told.) but it looked rather good.

Best float was a big army tank, painted pink (belonging to Amnesty International) - clicky.
