Thank you all, not a great deal further forward truth be known. It turned into a fudged effort on behalf of the union (who reneged on their position of a few months ago) and I just wanted to be absolutely elsewhere. I said my bit, pointed out team moral was the lowest I had ever worked in, the atmosphere sucked and that she had her favourites. She refused to acknowledge this. I then pointed out I was the only one who had the guts to be counted and actually say it to her. Again she wasn't having it. Personnel then jumped in to inform me that one more day sick leave this year and I'm out the door.
So there ye go, pretty much what I expected.

This whole experience has drained me, the only thing that has kept me not having very dark thoughts is all your kind wishes.

Ach well, at least the dreaded day has now passed, that's got to be a load off your mind.

You must be ready for a drink? Image

Yes and lots of HUGS and a bit of cheering up!

You did it - that counts!

MB...see ya in the drinking thread

You obviously did whatever could be done and certainly did it good. It might get them to think, you never know. If they don't want to improve their company it's obviously their loss too very much...

Now try to forget about it and have a drink

Was gonna say 'I'd listen to some Skids, if it would help...' But I was too late ;)

As has been said - you obviously have jumpeed through the hoops and in the correct order. Someone DOES have to stand up for the team and I hope that they realise what a gem they have in you, all too often people bury their heads in the sand until it directly affects them. :notworthy: @ Mr B.

Love Ness

p.s. please don't make me follow through with the Skids thingy.....

You will be fine, James. I am not sure if it will be at the same place (and unless you really have other good ties to it, I hope not), but you have what it takes to find yourself comfortable and respected employment.

glad you're ok James -maybe not as secure as you'ld like /deserve to be but it still amounts to a sabre-rattling backdown on their behalf -the petty "sick leave" parting shot says as much.just make sure if you have any sick before next year that you get certified by the quack -that's hard for them to knock in a tribunal especially if it's a nerves-related thing. "nervous exhaustion" is a fairly easy one to swing with the doc...probably half-true in your case. :|
stout fella Blastie -all the best ,brother. :notworthy:

Perhaps the only cleavage James doesn't want to stare at :innocent: Joking aside, I'm sorry to hear it was the farce you expected it to be. I hope you find another job soon cos the sooner you're out of that s**t hole the better.
