@Andy TG;Male pattern baldness is possibly the cruelest trick nature can play on the ageing goth.I paid an infrequent visit to Edwards in Birmingham a couple of years ago and I thought I had mistakenly entered a Max Wall lookalike convention.If it starts to happen to me I will have to do a Von;Shave the lot off,grow a goatee,throw out the frock coat and buy a string vest!
BTW This week I'm not a goth but i am now "The wrong sort of goth".People keep saying to me "So you're a goth,that means you like Marilyn Manson and wear clumpy boots and a leather trench coat then?" I always respond with the same comment " you've got the wrong sort of goth mate".
Forum smart arses can feel free to post comments along the lines of "all goths are the wrong sort of goths".

I can never understand why the cyber lot don't just admit that what they're listening to isn't "cyber-goth", it's techno. And bad techno at that, for the most part.

How very right my friend.I left the Goth scene for a few years to follow a dance/techno path and was reluctant to come back when I discovered all my old haunts were full of twats with wooly hair and goggles doing Karate movement dancing to to the worst poppy techno I'd ever heard.Still must admit I've grown quite fond of Covenant,VNV and XPQ 21 over the last couple of years.

I prefer "tad-goth" myself.
