as I only slept 1 hour after the gig (due to post-show coffee
for the ride home)!

Anyway, it was post-punk-goth-rokin'-drum and bass night at the Town
Ballroom! The club is a caverous pit with two wrap-around upper tiers and
the main floor before the stage. It was definitely up close and personal
no matter where you stood. When the Sisters took the stage and the
smoke machines filled the barely ventilated venue, it felt like something
special was about to begin... and it did.
Three silhouetted figures emerged from shadows and blasted thunder all
around us... sweet bliss!

I'm glad you all enjoy the recording... sorry not the whole thing...
but if

Also, I bet the show sounded great up front (according to your reviews)
but my friends Mr. Lamb, Mr. B and I agreed that it sounded more like
a** and were pissed at the sound guy who did not seem know how to
adjust levels correctly for a mechanized rock band... but it did improve
as the show progressed.
The drum/bass machine was cranked way above the guitars and vocals.
I believe "pummeling" was a word already used here... seriously. Even
when

surprised as bass and drum was all I could hear!

From where I was standing (center of the upper tier), the sound was
fffwhump-bumpfff-fffwhump-bumpfff-fffwhump-bumpfff-mumble-
mumble and a mumble-mumble-fffwhump-bumpfff-fffwhumpbumpfff...
name that tune people!

When recording, Mr. B and I made the decision to use the bass filter, which
was a good idea as I believe the sound of the recording is much clearer
than that of actual show. I cannot put more bass in the recording without
blowing my sub-woofer with the kick drum!

Anyway -- and I apologize if I am refering to a fellow Heartlander, but
I doubt it, as I dedicate my recording the the a**hole outside of the gig
watching people buy Sisters merchandise through the window and yelling:
"You're giving money to a fake band... they are not the Sisters of Mercy!"
Shut the f*** up... somebody obviously bought a ticket... go home and
listen to FALAA again as if Vision Thing never happened!
By this logic I assume Pink Floyd ceased being a real band when
Syd Barrett was kicked out... and again when Roger Waters left!
The Sisters of Mercy is a real band with

and hired guns... and they rock! Enough said. Peace.

BTW -- I liked

pray for the U.S. to soon elect a competent leader!
