There can be only one logical answer - Marx! Played on all the best records (wrote a lot of 'em too!) & although never seen live, his work on the boots from 83 especially is fantastic...

Yes, along with most of the pre FALAA songs, but this is the guitarist thread. Von played guitar on TOL because no-one else could.

(Oh, I've just realised that you thought circle was referring to the post by bangles. That hadn't occurred to me and my reply was based on the assumption that circle was just talking about guitar playing.)
