I think non-English-speaking-as-a-first-language members should be exempted anyway. You owe us far too much already.

Nice to see things ticking over.
Those folks at Paypal were ever so accomodating to accelerate their expansion plans particulary when I suggested they
might be visited by Loki ...in a very, very bad mood.

i'll look into that, ta
also, has anyone noticed any strange stuff with credit card transations?
i got a credit card payment a few days ago and the email said i needed to upgrade my personal account in order to collect the money. i went to the site and clicked to upgrade and it said i had already done it...?!?!
is this a new feature with a few bugs in? i dont trecall it being able to take money directly from credit cards before - you had register a bank account or debit card...

I've had some weird stuff with mine where they made two small payments to my bank account and asked me to confirm the amounts to verify my bank account.
Then they took the total (about 60p) back
It's all gone a bit odd.

The small amounts is just to confirm your account. I had that. They also gave me a ring to confirm my address and tel. no.
Payment with a creditcard sometimes comes as an e-cheque. The receive these you need indeed to have averified account. It might already have done that after you confirmed the payment. But trace your steps in case it is a scam.
Btw. Barry your account now says verified. Earlier when I posted it didn't.

The last time I used a mickey-mouse-merchant like paypal, they stopped my card til I rang them to ask what the fnck was going on. Much as I was impressed by their concern that someone might be abusing my plastic, I ain't gone anywhere near the like since. I'd rather slip you a brown one next time we meet QB.
