Well, I sat next to Paul McCartney's god-daughter in English.

Got a happy birthday message last year from Julianne Regan :D

Also had some messages from Martin Bowes from Attrition the last time they toured.

I've been good friends for a year or two with Gordon Sharp, aka Cindy from Cindytalk.....sang Kangaroo for This Mortal Coil. He hails from Linlithgow which isn't too far away so he got in touch when he spied a Scottish fan on Myspace.

That's all I can think of...

Incidentally Cindy told me an interesting wee story about the time he went for a chinese in Germany with two members of Xmal Deutschland and Von :von: :innocent:

I think so. He held a door open at LBA so my Mother could walk through. A true Swedish gentleman.

His "It's My Life" -ditty was used as the theme tune for Tampax adverts not so long after, IIRC

You're not a sir now, are you?

Also royalty related: I was in school with the brother of Belgian princess Mathilde, just before she became a princess. Looked like a beggar, he did. At the same school there were the grandsons of Tom Simpson (the cyclist who died on Ventoux) and of Adrien de Gerlache (the Belgian guy that went to the South Pole). Quite possibly there were more people that had famous roots there, but actually they were all pretty much wankers, the ones I mentioned included

Nope. Although, actually, I once saw Marc in the audience at one of this bloke's shows. Not that that helps in any way, obviously.

You win two tickets to see The Krankies in the Best Of British Variety Tour 2008, alongside Cannon & Ball, Paul Daniels, Frank Carson, Jimmy Cricket and the Brotherhood Of Man at a venue of your choice (in fact, you'd be doing them a favour if you turned up to all of them, actually...). Watch those sides.
