What are you favorite sisters songs?

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

I always thought Marian was about some german mermaid(Siren)who lured sailors to their deaths. If it only a love song I shall be very disapointed and disillusioned.
I always used to pronounce it "Marry-n" since that's how it looks. If it was spelt "Marianne", then I'd pronounce it "Marry-anne".

No Adrenochrome?
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

Currently enjoying Come Together a lot.

And if you speed up UTG to about 110%-115% it's not really that bad either.

10...I've got to pick 10...right...in no particular order as I guess they'll just pick themselves as I pull them out of my head...

1. Fix

2. Ribbons.

3. Will I Dream?

4. Gimme Shelter.

5. Blood Money.

6. I Was Wrong.

7. Torch.

8. Phantom.

9. Long Train.

10. Nine While Nine/Driven Like The Snow.

Honourable mentions go to: 1959; Finland Red, Egypt White; Jihad; When You Don't See Me; Something Fast; Summer; Under The Gun...ah buggerit, the rest of 'em.
I don't necessarily agree with everything I think.

1. Vision Thing
2. Detonation Boulevard
3. Lucretia, my Reflection
4. Crash and burn
5. First and Last and Always
6. Something Fast
7. Afterhours
8. Suzanna

If the original Alice, Valentine, Temple of Love etc. were all recorded fine with good gear and a muscled producer, i'd mark anything by the sisters as fantastic.

Possession is a song i never got.
