Audio 2006

Have you established a good reputation at HL and got some Sisters stuff to sell or trade with the community? Or are you searching for that elusive ultra rare live bootleg from 1988? Ever had a bad experience with a trader on Ebay? Let us all know here. Outdated threads will be purged over time.

Warning: Newcomers posting here first will be treated like spammers. At least have the courtesy to say hello in General Chat first...

I'm from Roma... where I can download gigs from Sisters Bite The Silver Bullet - 2006 tour? I know about Vegas, in it?

Thanks

Can someone confirm what audio recordings
are in the public Domain from this tour?

The only I'm aware of is Las Vegas

Loads of boots have been offered for download via Dominion recently, but no 2K6 gig yet apart from Vegas.

Just give the locals (ie Europeans) chance to get back home, and I'm sure there'll be more. These things take a little time, but the weeding section will fill up eventually with Silver Bullet gigs. In the meantime, the gigs will be more fun if you don't know how the new guitarist sounds before you get there. 8)

they're out there, you just got to know where to look :innocent:

I think the issue is the people who do a decent job at recording need to 'profit' in someway for their efforts, and so they should. the dreaded internet and share the music mentality has forced the best stuff off the street, because:

a) it's spread too quickly, or

b) it ends up on Ebay or similar

this is what happened with at least one regular source, for all 2005 gigs, and 'forced' the best quality gig from 2005 to go no further than say, 12 people etc... 2003 was a big learing curve in that regard.

so, it's all well and good saying 'share the music' but please try to remember the effort that goes into getting it. :notworthy: :notworthy:

That said and done; looking forward to my DVD copies arriving

It is ultimately the choice of the person who records and shares. I know that someone did a DAT recording of of the Leeds gig and that it is supposed to be very good. I've seen him offering it up but my collection is more wide-encompassing then rare so I didn't really have anything he was after. In the end that is the way things will happen. It doesn't prevent things ending up on eBay or someone else offering it up as weed. But I suppoose it does give control over who gets what.

Just look out for Vegas threads on that forum. The Vegas show was available for a couple days. Use the search button up there to find Vegas threads, one of them has the link you're longing for. If the gig's no longer available, then post a thread in the Trading or Weeding section.

Actually this thread was open for this reason, maybe not in the right section of the forum... anyway thank you.

Enjoy!! It's in two cos it was more than 100mb. So you might have to wait for the 2nd to download (70 mn wait between downloads).

Click on the link (or copy it)
Go down half the page.. Click on 'Free'.. wait about 60 seconds.
Copy the code into the box and click Download.

Karst, you never sent me your list, you mentioned 2 shows you'd downloaded from some server and that was it. I never heard from you again.

For the record : I'm not into rare trades - known gen sources yes, but *rare* is never a stipulation. Quality does matter.

It means his page needs updating. Some of the "rare" items have appeared in the weeding forum! :D
