Lost.

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Hmm. I'm going to check out the first series before I start messing around with hatches, etc. etc.

Looks good though, and if you've never seen Sky, then yes you probably will be pissed off by all the advertising.

The only way I can watch is by sky+ then fast forward the adverts.
You can then watch 2 hours of telly in an hour and ten minutes.

Just download the episodes off any torrent site. You get them a few hours after they're shown in the states, all the ads are removed and they're HDTV.

Well I'm gripped. I love it. Totally agreed about the C4 adverts though.

I sit in the sofa with my wife every Wendsday at 9PM. But to say I see it is a bit to much. I know what's going on, but I don't pay much attention to it.

The first serie were the best, now I think we have 2 or 3 here. They have showed it for more than a year here.

@ Rian: it must be season 2 becaus they haven't even filmed the final episode yet. (becaus of all the gossup and internet commotion they decided to schoot the episodes one at the time and inmediatly air them when they are finished)
yes I like it :D but now I only hope they get a chance to truly end the serie at some point becaus I think they are going to get lost in there own story.

While we're on American spooky dramas, has anyone been watching Invasion?

I enjoyed the first few, but I think it's starting to drag a little now (about episode 18 on UK Channel 4)

Yeah, I guess its the second now. They have season breaks and stuff, so it's hard to follow.

Anyway, when it's Lost on the telly, the fife lets me drink wine :D
Maybe that's why I not 100% focused on it.....

I have seen the first episode.
and to me it looked like yet another body snatchers copy :? (now that was a movie :notworthy: )
but now I have seen the commercials for the latest episodes and maybe it isn't that bad. but I missed 4 or more episodes ....

@ Rian: thats The way to watch some telly

I really loved the first series, especially a fan of Locke. Very good actor and a lot of personality.

Now awaiting the second season on VHS video :)

Watching Lost is like having an itch you keep scratching but won't go away. As much as I don't want to watch it, I keep coming back!

Got tired of watching Invasion...a lot going on but nothing really happening, although now there's another storm coming....

On the other hand...Supernatural is my kind of program. One story per episode with an ongoing "where's Dad and what spook killed mum" malarky.

Talking of Lost and adverts...did anyone see an advert for the Hanso Foundation during last night's Lost?

Just thought I'd mention it! :innocent:

It's nearly finished. On episode 20 now. ;)

Stick with it. The beginning of series 2 is a little frustrating, but it does get better.

Now that series three of this has kicked off is anyone still watching it?

If so, can someone point me at where to get it that doesn't involve "Sky"...
