Is it possible to view Heartland without the avatars?
I've nothing against them, but I've just moved position in the office, and they really make it obvious that I ain't on a work related site.
I've looked at 'My profile,' but there doesn't seem to be a way of disabling them as far as I can see.

I've managed to turn off all the avatars and smilies on Firefox.....
Unfortunately I did it by accident and can't get them back

There's an Option somewhere in you browser that blocks all images. Try that one.
Don't ask me where, just toy around.

Aye, in Firefox it's on the Content tab under options. Tick or untick Load Images, depending which u want.
In Internet Explorer it's under Advanced tab in Options, go to Multimedia section and tick or untick Show Pictures

He might want to see other pictures, but not avatars. So:
If you're using Firefox (which you ought to anyway), install Adblock (which you also should), and enter
http://myheartland.co.uk/images/avatars/*
as a filter by clicking the "Adblock" text in the bottom right corner. This will remove the Heartland avatars (and nothing else).

under Firefox's VIEW menu, navigate to SIDEBAR, then Adblock Plus: Blockable Items.mugabe wrote:He might want to see other pictures, but not avatars. So:

its called Summer as is available via the usual "edit profile" page: clicky
its still in a bit of a rough draft, so consider it still in beta, and expect it to change subtly as and when i get around to it...
please post any bug reports in the usual feedback forum

glad to be of service
@ everyone: if there's any "look & feel" tweaks you think might help feel free to suggest.
first couple of enhancements i'm thinking of are changing the font sizes and colours a little as they can be quite in your face, and tweaking the palette of greys used for table headers etc to make them a bit nicer too.
any more for any more?
