is it my personal problem that old posts have wrong dates (i. e. - all seems to be written in November)?

Nope...not your own problem.
it was all a bit too hard for Quiffles and it all went a bit tits up - which is why I presume the dates all go to Nov rather then their original dates

However, the other day I did see a posting that was sent on 31st December 1969...
That, I have to say, does prove that we are all, in fact, taking part in a time travel experiment mastered by PROFESSOR Quiff from the 13th Century...
...or summat...
Now, if the internet HAD been available on the last day of the 1960s...just how WOULD things be different???

The internet was available then, on a very basic level.
It started with ARPAnet in October 1969. This was created by the US military and communicated between Stanford research institute and University of California.

as much as i would like to confirm lars' theory, alas it is debaser who was nearer to the head of the nail with her big hammer
however, plans are afoot to give y'all a big shiny new heartland - complete with chat area!!!
just hang in there a little longer, i've got a bit more testing to do

honestly! time travel! me? from the 13th century? as if!
