101 Sisters gigs so far.... and some of the highlights were:
1991 Winterthur - my first Sisters gig
1992 Hasselt - Comfortably Numb/SKOS and then, later Sister Ray
2001 York - like a family reunion where I got to meet other Sisters fans for the first time
2001 Hamburg - cause that's one of the best places ever to see them
2001 Zurich - home territory and a band in a particularly good mood
2005 Leeds - at shortest notice ever, but I made it with a little help of friends and other very nice people. And again it felt like a family reunion.
2006 Monterrey - my first time in Mexico
2006 USA - my first time in the States and I met american Sisters fans. Petseri (Washington/Philadelphia, and the car trip in between, and the hassle about flight tickets Andrew and I had afterwards because of that trip by car) and Sinsister (Chicago), you two made the respective gigs particularly memorable
2006 Athens - for completely un-Sisters reasons
2006 Hamburg - Gretel & Alfons
2006 Belgrad - for completely un-Sisters reasons
2006 Budapest - my 100th gig and a big bunch of English/German/other people to celebrate with....

And also all those gigs between 2001 and 2006, where it was Andrew, Helen, sometimes Simon, Tina, sometimes Czuczu, and me together...
2006: and the adventures Andrew and I had together in the States, including all the fun and all the hassle, like passing through customs and missing a flight because of some bitch that sneaked in in front of us etc.... Worst planning ever, but I have to say that I completely and utterly underestimated the sheer size of the States, and the DISTANCES..... Like, travelling from Anaheim to Hollywood, all in the same city, but still lightyears away from each other, especially by taxi, especially if you (and the driver) can't find the hotel, because it has changed its name and shape and.... but then you find the best and most luxurious room ever. Breakfast was crap though... Oh, and Fort Lauderdale (I think ), in a motel with a puddle in the room and a pool (outside our room! ), where we sat and I was scared an alligator might turn up...
Oh, and Britain 2006, because of the gigs and the people I was travelling with, and everything...
And Paris 2006, because of the gig and because of all the people I've met (again)...
And Madrid 2006 because of the dreadful coat.
And Amsterdam 2006 - haven't been that much in outer space in a long time....
In fact, come to think of it: There is no rating, because all the gigs are somehow linked to wonderful memories...
Edit 2: Eggi has just complained that he doesn't find his name anywhere here.... although he should know that the "un-Sisters" reasons (Athens in particular) have a lot to do with him. Bristol 2006 got completely forgotten in this respect. And the whole eastern european leg of the 2006 tour was the best ever because by then we were together - it was our honeymoon (his words) so to speak..... And now I'll really spare you further details....

What is that part about problems with you subsequent flight? That is news to me.
To keep the thread on track, seven, I think, with perhaps Philadelphia 1999 or 2006 the most memorable. The former for an improntu Sweet Home Alabama, the latter for the HL comradery.

Oh, just the minor fact that with a "round-trip-ticket" you loose the whole thing if you skip one little part - of course nobody bothered to tell me when I booked. And then it took me a few very angry phone calls back to Switzerland to the travel agent and a very, very, very polite approach towards the agent at the airport (with gritted teeth disguised as a smile) and probably a few dollars more and we were sorted and back on track again.
But hey, travelling with you and skipping one of those countless flights was worth it!
