How can I change my name ?

For you to give feedback to the Heartland moderators. Wish lists, fault reports, etc. You may get an answer, you may not. As in all things, it largely depends on how nicely you ask the people in charge... You're welcome.

Some mod will probably tell you it's real pain in the a$$ because they'll have to look for every occurrence of the name "Driven" in the weeding section and then change it into your new name so as to avoid confusion. :innocent:

didnt realise you could do that :o

tbh, when i do it i edit it straight in the database rather than the forum admin system. it feels a bit more complete doing it that way :?

technically, its a dead easy job. the only issues lies with the weeding section, as mentioned above.

@ driven: what are you wanting? :)

In that case, no problem. I would dread having to go through all relavent weeding threads to change a username. :D

Just to be clear, Quiff Boy is the administrator. he gets to play with all the buttons. Some, like markfiend, get trusted as moderators; they have a few toys at their disposal.

Just to be clear, you really, really wish to be Bartek? If so, no problem. I would hate for you to try to log in and not know that your username had been changed. Remember, there is a one change limit, so you would be stuck with your new name.

yeah i was thinking about other, let's say more sophisticate nickname(s) but i choose this simple form of my real name. reason was that my current nickname it's... well.. a bit childish ( of course for somebody who knows polish )

but before i do, can you just confirm that you dont have any active weeds at the moment? (or at least not many?) it will make updating the weed section a bit trickier you see :)
