With 3 posts in 2 years you might have plenty of time to search.
Have a look at the Zottegem aftermath thread. ;D

This transaction will appear on statement as "BARRY"
Sounds like I paid for a rent boy

Thought I'd celebrate my wifes new job again

She saw this forum and wondered why we didn't write in white on black background however ;D

Change your settings to "Doctor Jeep". White and orange on dark grey. :von:

White text on a dark background is much easier on the eyes than vice-versa (cuts out glare, etc.). Too bad books aren't printed this way - sadly, the ink costs would be astronomical, probably... :|

that's not strictly true (designer hat on)
yes it would cost a lot more in ink but the eye does tire when reading and it tires faster when the text is white on black, it's also easier to scan lines when they are black on white
(designer hat off)
Doktor Jeep Rawks!!! ;D

Ugh. Well maybe (*maybe?!*) I'm just wired differently than the rest of you lot, then. I prefer light text on a dark background, it's far more soothing and far less harsh than the reverse. And I went back and re-sampled all of the forum themes just now - CHRIST, my poor retinas! I can't stand yellow/gold/orange, so I'm sticking with my tried-and-true black and brushed-metal Industrial Groove Machine, thankyouverymuch! :P

Oh sinny, yay! It's been the Industrial Groove Machine for me for two years now...we see it through the same eye kinda thing! Rock on black & blue! :von:
