Hello,
has someone around here got a list with interviews of the sisters which appeared on vinyl (single, EP) or CD?
Thanks for the help!

The guy who runs that circus (Jan Smeets) doesn't choose "good" bands, he chooses "commercial" bands. Can't really blame him though ...

Pinkpop works together with the German festival "Rock Am Ring" Both festivals are in the same weekend, so "expensive" bands can play both festivals on their tour with less expenses for the organizers. Thanks to this joined booking strategy it is possible for a rather small festival like Pinkpop to have "big names".
If this wasn't the case though, there would be a chance for the Sisters to play Pinkpop...

And addendum: Jan Smeets is not Chockri Massahine. At Pukkelpop they were delicious... My first sisters gig ever... 1992paul wrote:Pinkpop works together with the German festival "Rock Am Ring" Both festivals are in the same weekend, so "expensive" bands can play both festivals on their tour with less expenses for the organizers. I can't!cardoman wrote: Who can say he/she was biking to the sisters???
The Sisters also played in Maastricht and Aachen back in the mid eighties, very much around where I live (and Ozpat).
Wish I'd been there (I was 11 years old, listening to Run DMC) Still like 'm though ...

I never would talk bad about the sisters but I am feeling that I missed something, those early sisters. Better knowing them late than never, so...Ozpat wrote:I know what you mean but I appreciate every era in it's own way.cardoman wrote:I personel prefer the early sisters... Raw sound and pure music... Isn't there one interview tape where the interviewer asks Eldritch where the band are and he goes "We are the band!" ?
